Hang Seng Index closes up 2.46%, with active performance in robotics concept stocks; Yujiang rises more than 25%

The market opened high and maintained its gains throughout the day, with significant increases in various sectors including robotics, CXO, dual-class shares, overseas internet, AIGC, Chinese concept stocks returning to Hong Kong, cloud computing, livestreaming, automotive, and multi-category retail.
Leading stocks included WuXi AppTec and Baidu, both rising over 10%, while NIO climbed nearly 9%. At the end of the trading session, robotics concept stocks showed strong activity, with Yujiang increasing more than 25% and Midea Group gaining over 10%.
On the downside, sectors such as security, proton exchange membrane, building energy efficiency, cosmetics, department stores, energy-saving lighting, paper, dairy, three-child policy-related stocks, and environmental protection faced declines.

The port shipping sector saw a continued rise in the afternoon, with China Merchants Port and ZhuHai Port both hitting upper limits, while Cosco Shipping and Shenghang Co. led the gains. Robotics stocks also showed significant upward movement, with over ten stocks including YunDing Technology, GuoMao Shares, and JinTuo Shares reaching their upper limits.
15:03: In the futures market, the main contracts showed mixed results. The CSI 300 index futures (IF) rose 0.24%, while the Shanghai Composite 50 index futures (IH) increased 0.06%, and the CSI 500 index futures (IC) rose 0.33%. The CSI 1000 index futures (IM) rose 0.36%.
