Sunroot Green Energy has announced its plan to produce 1 million units of new energy products. On March 18, 2025, during a press conference in Xi’an, the company introduced its new product “eHome,” a household green energy solution. This product is a combination of energy storage batteries, inverters, and energy management software, primarily aimed at enhancing home energy efficiency and providing backup power for household use.
In addition to this, Sunroot Green Energy will also offer design and maintenance services for energy-efficient products. The company aims to establish a robust product distribution network. They have set ambitious goals to expand their product offerings in the green energy sector.
During the launch, Sunroot announced the availability of six household energy solutions, with the most affordable option priced at 116,000 RMB for a 6.5kW unit and an 8kWh storage system. The highest-end product, a 26.2kW unit with a 40kWh storage system, is priced at 426,900 RMB. Furthermore, they have also launched a vehicle charger priced at around 100,000 RMB, designed for use with new energy vehicles.
According to company calculations, the market in China is projected to grow to between 500,000 and 1 million units for these types of products. However, the current development of household energy solutions has not yet surpassed 500,000 units.
