Sunpower’s New Energy Business has announced plans to deliver 1,000 units of its residential energy storage solution, named eHome. This product is designed to enhance home energy management through advanced technology.
On March 18, 2025, Sunpower Green Energy (601012.SH) unveiled its new home energy storage solution “eHome” in a press release. This product integrates batteries, energy management software, and other components to provide electricity support and management services for residential buildings.
Additionally, Sunpower Green Energy will also offer installation and maintenance services. The company aims to expand its product offerings, including energy-efficient designs and ongoing service support. Sunpower Green Energy has established a platform for product distribution and marketing to boost sales of its offerings.
During the product launch event, the company highlighted that the energy storage system can support various household applications, enhancing the convenience of home energy usage.
Sunpower Green Energy’s offerings include a 6.5 kW energy storage system with an 8 kWh battery, priced at 116,000 RMB, while a more powerful 26.2 kW system with a 40 kWh battery is priced at 426,900 RMB. They also introduced a more affordable vehicle charging system priced around 100,000 RMB.
According to estimates, the demand for energy storage systems in China is projected to reach a range of 500,000 to 1,000,000 units. Despite the current market limitations, Sunpower Green Energy is actively working to increase its market share.
In recent developments, Sunpower Green Energy has also expanded its product line to include BIPV (Building-Integrated Photovoltaics) systems, which combine solar technology with building materials. These products not only provide energy but also enhance the aesthetic appeal of buildings.
