Kostad Faces Six-Day Decline with Southern Fund as a Major Shareholder

On March 20, Keda Technology Co., Ltd. experienced its sixth consecutive day of declines, with a cumulative drop of -6.83% over the period. Founded in 1993 and listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2010 (stock code: 002518), Keda Technology has dedicated the past 30 years to the research and manufacturing of UPS power supplies, air conditioning, micro-modules, batteries, photovoltaics, energy storage, and electric vehicle charging stations, positioning itself as a comprehensive solution provider in the smart energy sector.

According to financial reports, the Southern Fund’s Southern CSI 500 ETF is among Keda’s top ten shareholders, having increased its holdings in the fourth quarter of last year. This year, the ETF has achieved a return of 6.54%, ranking 1306 out of 3438 in its category. The fund manager for the Southern CSI 500 ETF is Luo Wenjie.

Ms. Luo holds a master’s degree in Mathematical Finance from the University of Southern California and another master’s in Computer Science from the University of California. She is qualified to work in the Chinese fund industry and has previously worked at Morgan Stanley as a quantitative analyst. She joined Southern Fund in September 2008 and has held various positions, including assistant fund manager in the Quantitative Investment Department and currently serves as the General Manager of the Index Investment Department.

Her extensive experience includes roles such as assistant fund manager for the Shenzhen Component Index ETF from February 28, 2011, to April 21, 2013, and manager for several other funds, including the Southern Strategy Fund and the Southern CSI Innovation Drug Industry ETF. She has been managing the Southern 500 and Southern 300 funds since April 22, 2013, and May 17, 2013, respectively.

Southern Fund Management Co., Ltd. was established in March 1998, with Zhou Yi serving as the chairman and Yang Xiaosong as the general manager. Currently, the company has four shareholders: Huatai Securities Co., Ltd. (holding 45%), Shenzhen Investment Holdings Co., Ltd. (holding 30%), Xiamen International Trust Co., Ltd. (holding 15%), and Xingye Securities Co., Ltd. (holding 10%).
