Collaboration Drives Green Energy Development at State Grid Xinxiang County Power Supply Company

Collaboration

The State Grid Xinxiang County Power Supply Company has been actively promoting the development of green renewable energy through collaboration with enterprises. Recently, the company organized its staff to conduct measurements and analyses of the geographical coordinates for two newly installed commercial photovoltaic power stations, thereby advancing the construction progress of these facilities and deepening cooperation in the renewable energy sector.

This new project differs from the previous distributed photovoltaic power stations aimed at poverty alleviation, as it marks the company’s first venture into commercially-oriented photovoltaic stations. The project is designed to meet the electricity demands of industrial and commercial users, utilizing a model that allows for self-consumption, surplus electricity to be fed back into the grid, and price settlement based on differences.

Once operational, the project is expected to generate an annual electricity output of 10 million kilowatt-hours, resulting in a reduction of 10,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions. This initiative signifies a crucial step for Xinxiang County in diversifying its photovoltaic application scenarios.

To ensure the safe grid connection of the photovoltaic project, the State Grid Xinxiang County Power Supply Company is providing comprehensive services from the initial stage through to the final integration. This includes:

  • Pre-service: Accurate alignment with needs. A dedicated service team led by the control center communicates technical specifications to users in advance, guiding companies through the preparation of grid connection documents. An electronic pre-review process is implemented via an online platform to save users time.
  • Technical support: Strict adherence to grid connection standards. The company rigorously controls three core indicators based on national standards and installs harmonic suppression devices to ensure voltage deviations meet the required standards. A “source-grid-load-storage integrated system” is utilized for real-time monitoring of power generation loads, along with emergency plans for extreme weather conditions.
  • Collaborative efforts: Addressing roadblocks. The company stays responsive to policy changes and collaborates with enterprises and design units to conduct on-site assessments, optimizing construction details such as cable routing. For larger grid connection capacities, the company upgrades the capacity of 10 kV lines in advance to prevent grid fluctuations.

These comprehensive measures underline the commitment of the State Grid Xinxiang County Power Supply Company to support the growth of green energy initiatives.
