LG Energy Solution has announced a strategic partnership with Delta Electronics to expand the residential energy storage system (ESS) market in the United States. According to the statement, LG Energy Solution will supply a total of 4 gigawatt-hours of residential energy storage batteries from this year until 2030, which will be sufficient to power over 400,000 households daily. These batteries will be manufactured in the United States.
The statement also mentioned that the two companies will explore future collaboration opportunities in residential, grid, and commercial ESS markets.
