This report focuses on the national energy policy, which includes the release of the “2025 Energy Security Plan”. This plan emphasizes strengthening safety management of energy generation and distribution. Locally, the “2025 Carbon Neutrality and Industrial Development Plan” has been published, aiming for systematic advancements in renewable energy production and infrastructure development.
In the direction of sustainability, several plans have been proposed, including the “New Energy Development Plan (2025-2030)”, promoting the establishment of energy storage facilities and efficiency improvements. The plan encourages international cooperation on renewable energy projects and aims to boost energy production capacity significantly.
By 2024, the energy storage sector is expected to reach a capacity of 12.3GW, as reported by WoodMacKenzie and the American Clean Power Association (ACP). The energy storage industry has demonstrated strong resilience, with the potential to exceed 1,250MW of installed capacity by 2024.
