Sungrow Power has been identified as the primary candidate for the procurement of a 13MW/30MWh energy storage system for the State Power Investment Corporation’s wind power project in Anhui Province. On April 2, the East China Regional Company of the State Power Investment Corporation announced the candidates for the procurement of energy storage system equipment for the 50MW wind power project in He County, Ma’anshan City, Anhui Province. The project is being tendered by Jilin Electric Power Co., Ltd. The bid for the 13MW/30MWh energy storage equipment from Sungrow Power is quoted at 17.1546 million yuan, translating to a unit price of 0.572 yuan/Wh.
Performance:
(1) Within the last five years (calculated from the bid deadline backwards, based on the commissioning time), the company has successfully operated at least two energy storage systems for over two years. This includes:
1. On November 25, 2022, a service contract was signed with China Power Engineering Consulting Group East China Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd. for the procurement of lithium iron phosphate electrochemical energy storage system equipment for the 2000MW integrated wind and solar energy storage project in Chongzuo, Guangxi, with the service concluding in January 2023;
2. On August 1, 2022, a service contract was signed with Hunan Sany Smart New Energy Design Co., Ltd. for the system integration of energy storage equipment for the 100MW/200MWh demonstration power station project in Longhui, Shaoyang, Hunan, which concluded on December 31, 2022. (2) Within the last five years, the company has also provided energy storage cells (the brands of the supplied cells must match the brands proposed in this bid) for at least two projects, including:
1. On June 7, 2024, a procurement contract was signed with China Nuclear Huineng Xinjiang Energy Development Co., Ltd. for the 125MW/500MWh lithium iron phosphate battery energy storage system equipment for the 1 million kilowatt wind power project;
2. On October 15, 2024, a contract was signed with Xinjiang Huadian Kaisheng New Energy Development Co., Ltd. for an 800MW wind power project, fulfilling two performance criteria.
(3) The selected PCS manufacturer must have supplied at least two PCS systems (the brands of the supplied PCS must match the brands proposed in this bid) within the last five years and have successfully operated them for over two years. This includes:
1. The contract signed on November 25, 2022, with China Power Engineering Consulting Group East China Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd. for the lithium iron phosphate electrochemical energy storage system equipment for the 2000MW integrated wind and solar project in Chongzuo, Guangxi;
2. The contract signed on August 1, 2022, with Hunan Sany Smart New Energy Design Co., Ltd. for the system integration of energy storage equipment for the 100MW/200MWh demonstration power station project in Longhui, Shaoyang, Hunan, fulfilling two performance criteria.
