2025 Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition will take place from April 23 to May 2, 2025, at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). This year’s exhibition will extend into the May Day holiday, aiming to explore connections with urban culture, transportation, and tourism activities.
Nearly 1,000 renowned companies from 26 countries and regions have been invited to participate, with a total exhibition area exceeding 360,000 square meters, marking a new high in both scale and international representation.
The exhibition will utilize 13 indoor exhibition halls at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). It will include 8 halls for passenger vehicles and 4 halls for automotive technology and supply chains, along with a media area.
Major global automotive brands will showcase their latest models, including Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Volvo, Toyota, and Ford. Chinese brands such as FAW, Dongfeng, SAIC, Geely, and BYD will also have a significant presence.
This year’s exhibition will feature many new faces, particularly among new energy brands. Companies like Xiaomi Auto, Hongmeng Zhixing, ONVO, Firefly, Equation Leopard, iCAR, Jietu, GAC Hino, and Geely Holding Group’s Chunhydrogen Technology will participate for the first time.
The automotive technology and supply chain area will cover approximately 100,000 square meters, showing significant growth in both scale and number of participating companies compared to the last edition. Over half of the world’s top 100 parts suppliers, including Bosch, ZF, Magna, and CATL, will showcase their innovations and trends.
Nearly 50 international companies, including Sony, Intel, and Momenta, will make their debut at this exhibition. A high-level 2025 Global Automotive Leaders Roundtable will also be held for the first time.
