The 2025 Munich International Trade Fair for Construction Machinery opened on April 7 at the Munich Exhibition Center, focusing on digitalization and sustainability. The event showcases the trend of the construction industry and other sectors transitioning towards greener and more efficient practices.
Running until April 13, the fair has drawn over 3,500 exhibitors from approximately 60 countries and regions around the world. Organizers noted a significant increase in international participation this year, particularly from companies in Asian countries like China.
Nearly 500 Chinese construction machinery companies, including prominent firms such as Xugong Group, Zoomlion, LiuGong Group, and Sany Heavy Industry, are showcasing their latest technologies and products in areas like green low-carbon solutions and intelligent manufacturing.
This year’s fair centers around themes such as climate neutrality, new energy equipment as alternative driving technologies, sustainable construction, smart buildings, and challenges in mining.
