The UK, recognized as one of the more mature energy storage markets in Europe, has consistently ranked high in energy storage installation capacity. According to data from the European Photovoltaic Industry Association, the UK added 2.7 GWh of new energy storage capacity in 2023, marking a 91% year-on-year increase. For 2024, an expected additional 4.5 GWh is projected, representing a 67% growth.
As a leader in the global energy transition, the UK aims to decarbonize its power system by 2035. In response to the rising demand in the UK market and its unique maritime climate, Cai Ri Energy presented commercial and grid-side energy storage solutions that are perfectly suited to local needs. Their liquid-cooled energy storage system, notable for its technological innovations and adaptability, aligns well with the UK’s requirements.
The Xing Lian series offers a 215 kWh liquid-cooled energy storage system that integrates MPPT functionality, allowing for direct connection with photovoltaic systems and smart cloud management, making it ideal for hybrid solar-storage applications. Additionally, the 372 kWh liquid-cooled storage system features battery-level immersion fire protection, an IP55 high protection rating for the cabinet, and an extended equipment lifecycle with low total cost of ownership.
The Xing Han series includes a 5.015 MWh containerized system that reduces land costs through high-density integration, addressing grid peak regulation and solar-storage integration needs.
