Guangdong’s 6MWh Energy Storage Project Launched to Enhance Industrial Energy Management

Guangdongs

Recently, the 6MWh energy storage project in Guangdong, developed by Guangdong Changhe Technology Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of Rishangsheng Financial Services focused on the renewable energy sector), has officially commenced operations. This milestone signifies a significant advancement for Changhe Technology in the field of energy management, as they actively implement innovative solutions to address energy challenges faced by industrial and commercial users.

In recent years, fluctuations in electricity pricing and the growing demand for cost reduction and efficiency among enterprises have made energy management optimization a key focus for industrial and commercial users. Alongside this, the application of renewable energy sources, such as distributed photovoltaic systems, is becoming increasingly common in commercial settings. However, the intermittent and variable nature of these energy sources can impact the stability of electricity supply for businesses. In response, Changhe has meticulously planned and executed this energy storage project to help companies lower electricity costs, enhance energy utilization efficiency, and achieve sustainable development.

Located in the Shishan Town of Nanhai District in Foshan City, the project utilizes a state-of-the-art lithium iron phosphate battery storage system with a total installed capacity of 6MWh, capable of meeting the high load electricity demands of businesses for 4 to 5 hours. Additionally, the system is equipped with an intelligent energy management system that can monitor and analyze electricity consumption data in real-time. By automatically optimizing charge and discharge strategies based on electricity price fluctuations and actual consumption needs, the system ensures efficient allocation of electrical resources, resulting in significant cost savings for enterprises.

The 6MWh energy storage system stands out for its high efficiency and stability, playing a crucial role in supporting peak shaving and frequency regulation of the power grid, thereby enhancing the overall efficiency of energy utilization and securing regional electricity supply.

In terms of technology, the project employs batteries that prioritize safety and longevity, combined with an advanced intelligent energy management system that guarantees safe and reliable operation through real-time monitoring and precise control, setting a technological benchmark for the industry.

With the project now operational, it aims to reduce costs and enhance efficiency for businesses, further reinforcing Changhe’s commitment to energy optimization. As the global energy structure rapidly shifts towards clean, low-carbon solutions, energy storage technology is emerging as a vital component in the new power system, experiencing explosive growth. In this context, Changhe Technology is leveraging innovation as a driving force to establish a foothold in the energy storage sector. The launch of the Guangdong Jingxun 6MWh energy storage project marks a critical step for the company in aligning with national strategies and seizing industry opportunities.

As a proponent of green energy, Changhe Technology remains committed to the mission of “driving the future through technology and empowering development through green initiatives.” Looking ahead, the company plans to accelerate its energy storage project initiatives, deepen the integration of “photovoltaics + energy storage + digitalization,” and facilitate green upgrades across various industries. Furthermore, they aim to collaborate with partners across the industry chain to build an open, collaborative, and win-win new energy ecosystem.
