Hefei GCL Integrated New Energy has been granted a patent for photovoltaic modules that enhance their aesthetic appeal. According to information from the National Intellectual Property Administration, Hefei GCL Integrated New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. received a patent titled “Photovoltaic Module“, with authorization announcement number CN 222721438 U, and the application date was June 2024.
The patent summary indicates that the application discloses a photovoltaic module, which includes a photovoltaic frame designed for the installation of photovoltaic laminated components. The frame consists of two sets of opposing first frames and second frames that enclose to form a rectangular framework. Notably, the first frame lacks an A side, while the second frame includes it. The A side features a beveled structure at both ends along its length, creating notches with the adjacent first frames. Additionally, the bottom of the A side is equipped with a glue storage groove that extends through to the beveled structures at both ends.
Moreover, an assembly component is included to fill the gaps formed by the notches, effectively sealing the openings of the glue storage groove along its length. This design improves the aesthetic quality of the assembled photovoltaic module by filling the notches created by the beveled structures, while also preventing glue from leaking out, which could compromise the module’s sealing and durability.
