0.473元/Wh! On March 18, China Huadian Group announced the shortlisted candidates for the 2025 6GWh energy storage system framework procurement. Six companies made the cut: CRRC Zhuzhou Institute, Shandong Electric Power Technology Company, Sunshine Power, TBEA, Yisit, and Guodian Nanjing Automation. In addition, Huadian Science and Technology, Haibosi Chuang, and BYD were listed as backup candidates.
This procurement attracted participation from 67 companies, with 66 valid bids submitted. The overall bid range was between 0.4563-0.5455元/Wh, with an average bid of 0.4877元/Wh. However, the final bid results indicated that some companies had lowered their prices. The evaluation results showed that the bid range for the nine shortlisted candidate companies was 0.4583-0.486元/Wh, with an average bid of 0.4751元/Wh. Among the top six candidates, the average bid was 0.4730元/Wh, while the bids from the three backup candidates were higher, at 0.4738, 0.486, and 0.4784元/Wh.
According to the tender documents, this procurement is for a 0.5C and 0.25C energy storage system, requiring a battery cell capacity of at least 314Ah and a five-year warranty.
