On March 20, the COSMOS2.0 digital system was launched by Hongzheng Energy during the 2025 Smart Storage Ecological Conference held in Fengxian District. This event marked the global debut of a new generation of digital storage products developed in Shanghai. With the support of advanced algorithms, the energy storage industry is now entering the AI era.
Energy storage plays a crucial role as a new form of productive force, acting like a “reservoir” for the energy system. It can store energy when supply exceeds demand and release it when demand outstrips supply, thereby balancing supply and demand and enhancing energy utilization efficiency. As the global energy structure transforms and new energy sources rapidly develop, the significance of energy storage technology becomes increasingly prominent, revealing vast application prospects.
Hongzheng Energy, located in Fengxian District, is a representative enterprise in Shanghai’s energy storage sector. The company possesses independent core R&D capabilities in energy storage devices, 3S systems, and the D-Galaxy intelligent energy storage cloud platform. It has created a comprehensive product matrix and systematic energy storage solutions that cover source-side storage, commercial and industrial storage, and household storage. The COSMOS2.0 digital system released by Hongzheng Energy integrates a self-developed AI algorithm system with a dynamic strategy engine. It generates optimal charging and discharging strategies in real-time, balancing economic viability and safety through load forecasting, electricity price predictions, and equipment health analysis. This system effectively avoids risks associated with power overload and reverse flow while enabling the combination of multiple revenue models, such as peak-valley arbitrage and demand management.
Additionally, Hongzheng Energy unveiled its D-Cube2.0 series of commercial and industrial energy storage products. This series features a modular architecture and is equipped with the intelligent BMS2.0 system. This system combines AI algorithms with 7M multi-dimensional sensing technology to capture microscopic anomalies at the battery cell level in real-time. The system also includes a “multi-level fire protection” architecture, utilizing aerosol, perfluorohexane, and precise spraying technology to provide comprehensive protection from early warning of cell-level hazards to rapid response at the module level, ensuring worry-free delivery for commercial and industrial applications.
According to Feng Anhua, Chairman of Hongzheng Energy, the goal is to leverage COSMOS2.0 as a foundation to transition energy storage from a “functional device” to an “intelligent platform,” ensuring that the value of every kilowatt-hour is accurately captured through the flow of data.
