Keda Sees Six-Day Decline as Southern Fund’s ETF Becomes a Top Shareholder

On March 20, Keda Technology Co., Ltd. has experienced a continuous decline for six trading days, accumulating a total drop of -6.83%. Founded in 1993, Keda Technology (stock code: 002518) was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2010. Over the past 30 years, the company has focused on the research and development of products such as UPS power supplies, air conditioning and micro-modules, batteries, photovoltaics, energy storage, and electric vehicle charging stations. It is recognized as a comprehensive solution provider in the smart energy sector.

According to the financial report, the Southern CSI 500 ETF, managed by Southern Fund, is among Keda’s top ten shareholders, having increased its holdings in the last quarter of the previous year. This year, the ETF has achieved a return of 6.54%, ranking 1306 out of 3438 in its category.

The fund manager for the Southern CSI 500 ETF is Ms. Luo Wenjie. Her resume indicates that she holds a Master’s degree in Mathematical Finance from the University of Southern California and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of California. She is qualified to work in the Chinese fund industry and has previously worked at Morgan Stanley Investment Bank, focusing on quantitative analysis. Ms. Luo joined Southern Fund in September 2008 and has held multiple positions, including assistant fund manager in the Quantitative Investment Department, and currently serves as the General Manager of the Index Investment Department.

  • Manager of the Southern CSI Hong Kong Technology ETF (QDII) from July 2, 2021, to August 25, 2023.
  • Manager of the Southern Hang Seng Hong Kong-listed Biotechnology ETF (QDII) from June 17, 2022, to August 25, 2023.
  • Manager of the Southern CSI National Enterprises Dividend ETF from May 30, 2023, to July 5, 2024.

Southern Fund Management Co., Ltd. was established in March 1998, with Zhou Yi serving as the Chairman and Yang Xiaosong as the General Manager. The fund has four major shareholders: Huatai Securities Co., Ltd. holds 45%, Shenzhen Investment Holdings Co., Ltd. holds 30%, Xiamen International Trust Co., Ltd. holds 15%, and Industrial Securities Co., Ltd. holds 10%.
