PaiNeng Technology has successfully launched its first commercial energy storage project in Kunshan, with a total capacity of 1.6MWh. This marks the company’s first venture in the region to provide comprehensive energy storage solutions for commercial applications. Kunshan, known for its thriving electronics industry, has an increasing demand for energy storage and management solutions.
The project is located at an electronics materials company in Kunshan, which has been actively seeking efficient, stable, and eco-friendly energy storage solutions to enhance its production operations. By collaborating with PaiNeng Technology, the company has integrated seven 232kWh liquid-cooled energy storage units. This implementation has allowed the company to adopt a peak-shaving strategy, significantly reducing its electricity costs.
Thanks to meticulous electrical design and logical control, the energy storage system can perform charging and discharging across transformers, greatly increasing the number of days the storage system can operate effectively and enhancing profit opportunities. It is projected that the company will save approximately 782,400 yuan in electricity bills annually, with a yearly discharge of around 985,000 kWh.
