Design and Development of Renewable Energy Power Stations: A Comprehensive Plan for Large-Scale Deployment!
On March 20, 2025, during the 10th National Renewable Energy Development and Innovation Conference, a major plan was announced concerning the deployment of renewable energy power stations on a large scale. This plan focuses on addressing the high-value product solutions for large-scale solar energy applications, which are particularly relevant given the rising demand in the electric power market.
The initiative includes the design and improvement of renewable energy power stations, emphasizing the need for high-efficiency, cost-effective solutions. The aim is to establish a robust electric power market that can efficiently handle the largest three major solar power plants, significantly enhancing the generation of clean energy referred to as “peak capacity” and achieving “peak quality” targets.
Products from this initiative will utilize i-TOPCon Ultra technology and advanced tracking systems, meeting the requirements of large-scale solar energy applications. By leveraging high integration efficiency and advanced tracking support algorithms, the project aims to maximize energy output and minimize operational costs, thus reducing the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE).
In comparison, the products from BC and 1P tracking systems can enhance the system’s value to approximately 0.126 ¥/W, achieving a 4.37% reduction in LCOE. The annual output of a 100 MW power plant may reach up to 239.6 million kWh, bringing significant revenue to customers.
The drive for higher efficiency in the renewable energy sector is supported by plans to achieve 455 GW of total installed capacity by 2030, with vast potential for growth in large-scale solar energy applications. This initiative addresses the need for high-efficiency and cost-effective renewable energy solutions, ensuring stability and reliability in the energy market.
Furthermore, the deployment of advanced technology and intelligent tracking systems is designed to maximize energy efficiency and output. The combination of high power generation and low operational costs will create a significant competitive advantage in the renewable energy market.
This comprehensive plan will continue to evolve, integrating new technologies and innovative strategies to ensure sustainable growth in the renewable energy sector. The focus will remain on maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs, thus contributing to the broader objective of achieving a reliable and sustainable energy future.
