1.6MW/3.44MWh! The user-side energy storage project at the Huaxun Technology Industrial Park in Dongguan, Guangdong, has officially commenced operations. This project, invested and built by Hopu Green Energy, utilizes a smart energy storage system to help businesses optimize energy costs and achieve green, low-carbon development. This initiative signifies Hopu Green Energy’s deeper commitment to the industrial and commercial energy storage sector.
Located within the Huaxun Holdings Technology Industrial Park in Zhongtang Town, Dongguan City, the project is equipped with 16 units of 100KW/215KWh smart energy storage cabinets. Hopu Green Energy is responsible for the investment, construction, and subsequent operational management of this facility.
According to calculations, after the project’s initiation, it employs a “peak shaving and valley filling” strategy, operating on a model of “charging during off-peak hours and discharging during peak hours,” which allows for two charge and discharge cycles each day. This approach is expected to provide the client company with an additional 2.2 million kilowatt-hours of available electricity during peak periods each year, thereby reducing their energy costs and alleviating the pressure on the power grid during peak supply times.
