Hangzhou Zhihao has obtained a patent for a new type of moisture-proof photovoltaic grid-connected cabinet, which is beneficial in reducing the occurrence of water droplets falling onto electrical components, thus preventing potential damage or disruption to equipment use.
As of March 25, 2025, information from the National Intellectual Property Administration indicates that Hangzhou Zhihao New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. has secured a patent titled “A New Type of Moisture-Proof Photovoltaic Grid-Connected Cabinet“. The patent was granted under announcement number CN 222654591 U, with an application date of June 2024. The summary of the patent reveals that this utility model pertains to the field of electrical equipment technology and involves a photovoltaic grid-connected cabinet. Notably, the cabinet’s interior features a top-mounted guide plate one and guide plate two, both equipped with water inlet grooves. Additionally, the interior of these guide plates contains several plastic baffles to prevent water molecules from flowing backward. The height of guide plate one exceeds that of guide plate two.
The design allows guide plates one and two to manage water droplets that fall from the top of the photovoltaic grid-connected cabinet without compromising the cabinet’s heat dissipation. This mechanism effectively intercepts water droplets, minimizing the risk of them falling onto lower electrical components, which could otherwise impair equipment functionality or cause damage.
