Recently, 26 commercial energy storage projects have been included in the construction plan, with total capacities primarily ranging from 10-40 MWh. Notably, the highest capacity project belongs to the Juhua Group, which features an initial phase of 110 MWh for its user-side energy storage station.

According to statistics from Beijing Polar Star Energy Network, as of 2022, Shanxi has registered 34 energy storage projects with capacities exceeding 100 MWh, amounting to a total investment of over 40.3 billion yuan and a combined energy storage capacity of more than 9.1 GW/18.9 GWh. We anticipate that energy storage projects in the domestic market will experience unexpected growth in the second half of 2022, driven by factors such as the progress of energy storage construction and the rise of new energy technologies.
