On March 24, Trina Solar’s Key National Laboratory for Photovoltaic Science and Technology announced a significant achievement. They have successfully developed the world’s first 210mm-sized perovskite/silicon tandem solar module, which boasts a peak power output of 808W. This innovation has been certified by the TV SD testing laboratory, marking it as the first industrial-standard photovoltaic module to exceed the 800W threshold, thus setting a new world record.
The module has a surface area of 3.1m² and represents a breakthrough in solar technology, showcasing the potential for enhanced energy efficiency in photovoltaic systems.
