LG Energy Solution has announced a strategic partnership with Delta Electronics to expand the residential energy storage system (ESS) market in the United States. This collaboration was revealed on March 26, 2025.
According to the announcement, LG Energy Solution will supply a total of 4 gigawatt-hours of residential energy storage system batteries from this year until 2030. This supply is sufficient to provide daily power to over 400,000 households. The batteries will be manufactured in the United States.
The statement also mentioned that the two companies will explore future collaborations in the residential, grid, and commercial ESS markets.
