The Era of Electric Vehicles: The Launch of the U7 Represents a New Era in Energy Vehicles

At a recent press conference, the U7 was highlighted as a significant product by the China Electric Vehicle Group. The spokesperson emphasized that the new energy vehicles have already transitioned into the “fourth electric era,” which encompasses batteries, electric motors, electric control, and electric drive systems.
On March 27, during the launch event for the U7, the spokesperson noted that the U7’s first public release features a unique vehicle code and is powered by an “electric drive” technology utilizing the Intelligent Z vehicle control system. As the flagship model of the “fourth electric vehicle era,” the U7 is available in both pure electric and hybrid versions. The entry-level model is priced at 628,000 yuan, while the hybrid version starts at 708,000 yuan.
The Intelligent Z vehicle control system integrates perception, strategy, and control capabilities, enabling electric vehicle control with high precision. The spokesperson also indicated that the Intelligent Z’s electric motor system can effectively manage dynamic driving applications, which are expected to be utilized in various electric vehicle scenarios.
The system boasts a peak power output of 50 kW, marking the highest level of control for electric vehicles. Additionally, the Intelligent Z’s sensor suite can detect changes at a rate of 50 microns, ensuring rapid response times. It is designed to perform 4,000 vehicle posture adjustments, significantly faster than traditional systems.
In terms of precision, the Intelligent Z can achieve a measurement accuracy of 10 microns, capable of detecting even the smallest shifts in vehicle position. The spokesperson highlighted that the U7 is engineered to handle both dynamic and stable driving scenarios effectively.
According to the spokesperson, the U7 has demonstrated excellent performance in various driving conditions, including off-road and high-speed scenarios, ensuring a smooth driving experience.
The U7 continues to pave the way for future electric vehicles, integrating cutting-edge technology and setting a new standard in the industry. The ongoing development of the U7 and the Intelligent Z control system signifies a shift towards a more advanced electric vehicle market.
