CEEC 2025 Highlights Innovative Energy Production to Accelerate Carbon Neutrality Goals

CEEC

CEEC 2025 focuses on new energy production capabilities, accelerating the achievement of the “dual carbon” goals. On March 26, 2025, the fifteenth China International Clean Energy Expo (CEEC 2025) grandly opened at the National Convention Center in Beijing. With the theme of “Focusing on New Energy Production Capabilities, Green Power Supply Chain”, the exhibition covers over 50,000 square meters, bringing together 535 leading companies from around the world and showcasing more than 2,000 cutting-edge technological achievements. During the event, 32 industry forums will be held, attracting representatives from over 70 countries and regions to explore pathways for energy transformation and inject new momentum for green development in the 14th Five-Year Plan.

Three Major Thematic Exhibitions Working Together

CEEC 2025 features a collaborative matrix of three exhibitions: photovoltaics, energy storage, and hydrogen energy, creating an international exhibition platform that covers all scenarios of clean energy and builds a global zero-carbon economy ecosystem. The 2025 China International Photovoltaic Innovation Application Exhibition, led by the China Photovoltaic Industry Association, showcases ultra-efficient component technologies such as TOPCon and perovskite tandem cells, driving the photovoltaic industry from “scale” to “intelligence + scenarization”. The Third China Energy Storage Conference and Exhibition focuses on the construction of new energy storage systems, addressing hot topics such as technological innovation, safety control, planning, and effective utilization, while promoting the large-scale application of new energy storage. The Fourth International Hydrogen Energy and Fuel Cell Industry Exhibition aims to showcase the entire industry chain of hydrogen energy—from production to storage, transportation, and utilization—presenting solutions such as hydrogen production equipment and hydrogen-electric coupling, making it one of the most influential hydrogen energy exhibitions globally.

Resource Sharing and Comprehensive Clean Power Ecosystem

CEEC 2025 is the first to implement a dual-hall operation model at the National Convention Center, with an exhibition area exceeding 50,000 square meters and featuring 535 leading organizations. The event showcases over 2,000 innovative products covering the complete ecosystem supply chain of new power systems, including new energy generation, storage, transmission, transformation, distribution, and utilization. The exhibition presents a comprehensive blueprint for a new power system ecosystem, from heterogeneous photovoltaic components to megawatt-class electrolyzers, and from smart microgrid systems to zero-carbon park solutions. There are also areas for new product launches, technical roadshows, and interactive experiences, providing immersive communication opportunities for industry professionals.

32 High-End Forums Discussing Energy Transformation Trends

CEEC 2025 concurrently hosts events such as the 2025 Economic Outlook and Power Development Analysis Conference, the Third China New Energy Foreign Investment Conference, and the China Hydrogen Alliance’s Seventh Council Meeting, among 32 authoritative industry forums. Over 500 industry leaders will engage in in-depth discussions around more than 300 hot topics, including power economic trends, new energy policy interpretations, safety standards for energy storage, cost reduction paths for green hydrogen, and cross-border investment opportunities in new energy. Significant releases include the 2024 Annual Industry Statistics for Electrochemical Energy Storage Stations and typical application cases, as well as the first International Business Credit Certification for Power Enterprises, setting a new benchmark for international cooperation in clean energy.

Empowering Global Transformation

CEEC emphasizes new energy production capabilities while anticipating the 14th Five-Year Plan and aligning with the “dual carbon” goals. It leads the clean energy industry into the future through full-chain collaboration, facilitating global energy transformation. From Chinese solutions to global actions, it promotes Chinese clean energy services for global energy governance, crafting a new blueprint for sustainable development in a shared future.

International Participation and Collaboration

CEEC 2025 attracts 51 international exhibitors (10% of total participation) from 14 countries and regions. Numerous international buyer groups and embassies in China actively participate, with visitors from over 70 countries including the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Spain, Russia, Australia, and Japan registering to attend. The expo has gained special support from 30 central and state-owned enterprises in the energy and power sectors, establishing a communication bridge for government departments, industry organizations, and research institutions, and building a collaborative platform to accelerate the market process of clean energy technology from laboratory to large-scale application, aiding in achieving the “dual carbon” target.

Innovative Technology and Immersive Experiences for a Low-Carbon Lifestyle

As a preferred platform for new product launches, CEEC 2025 breaks down barriers between technology and the public by featuring an interactive science popularization area, allowing the public to experience cutting-edge technologies in fields such as solar energy, energy storage, and hydrogen energy firsthand. Leading global companies showcase their innovative products, including hydrogen-powered drones and fuel cell heavy trucks, as well as solutions for extreme weather in photovoltaics and integrated energy storage and charging stations. Through engaging educational activities and immersive experiences, low-carbon technologies become tangible predictions for a greener lifestyle. CEEC also actively engages youth research groups, guiding audiences to unlock the secrets of “dual carbon” through interactive experiences, thereby influencing society at large.

CEEC: Fifteen Years of Commitment to Clean Energy

The China International Clean Energy Expo (CEEC) began in 2009 and has evolved through fifteen iterations, becoming one of the largest and most influential industry events in the global clean energy sector. As a professional platform focused on the entire industrial chain of clean energy equipment, CEEC continues to promote technological innovation, industrial upgrading, and international cooperation, serving as the preferred venue for government departments, state-owned enterprises, and international organizations to assess trends and deepen collaborations. The fifteenth edition of CEEC is jointly organized by the China Electricity Council, the China Photovoltaic Industry Association, the China Hydrogen Alliance, and several other organizations.
