DJI has officially launched its latest outdoor power supply, the DJI Power 2000, designed for all scenarios with a focus on safety and high capacity. Announced on March 27, 2025, in Shenzhen, this new power supply features a capacity of 2 kWh and a compact size, offering a maximum output power of 3000 watts, which can easily support most household appliances. It can reach 80% charge in just 45 minutes from a wall outlet and supports both solar and car fast charging. The device is highly expandable, capable of increasing its capacity to 22 kWh, making it suitable for various scenarios such as home backup, short camping trips, long RV journeys, and film production.
The DJI Power 2000 utilizes a board-level nano-coating for enhanced safety and supports remote control through an app, making electricity usage more convenient. Compact Size, High Capacity, Fast and Efficient Charging
The DJI Power 2000 features a significant capacity of 2 kWh, which is double that of the 1 kWh DJI Power 1000, while its size has increased by less than half. With dimensions comparable to a 16-inch mini suitcase, it can easily fit into compact cars or trunks. The ports, buttons, and screen are all integrated on the front for convenient operation and space-saving aesthetics. In daily backup and emergency scenarios, it can connect up to 10 additional 2 kWh power packs, expanding to a total of 22 kWh to robustly support household electricity demands.
The DJI Power 2000 can maintain a stable output of 3000 watts until its power is depleted, effortlessly powering most household appliances such as induction cookers, microwaves, and ovens. It is equipped with four AC output ports, four USB-C ports, and four USB-A ports, allowing simultaneous charging of multiple devices without stress on power supply.
The power supply can be charged via wall outlet, solar energy, or car charging, and it supports smart hybrid charging. In wall outlet mode, it supports fast charging up to 2200 watts, achieving 80% charge in just 45 minutes and fully charged in 75 minutes. Charging via solar power is both economical and environmentally friendly, with a maximum solar power input of 1800 watts requiring only 75 minutes to fully charge the device. Additionally, with a 1000-watt car fast charging accessory, it can utilize excess power from a car’s generator, enabling efficient energy storage and power supply systems suitable for regular cars and RVs, charging in as little as 145 minutes.
The DJI Power 2000 also features intelligent hybrid charging, prioritizing clean solar energy to reduce reliance on the grid, enhancing economic and environmental efficiency. This is particularly useful in RV camping and emergency power situations. In case of a sudden power outage while connected to the grid, the DJI Power 2000 can switch to power supply mode in 0.01 seconds, ensuring that your devices continue to function normally, providing peace of mind.
Ultra Silent Operation and Comprehensive Safety Design
The DJI Power 2000 employs advanced power management technology, maintaining its charge even during extended periods of shutdown and ready for immediate use. It comes with a warranty of up to 5 years for a longer-lasting user experience. In normal charging mode, the noise level does not exceed 29 decibels, making it quieter than most household refrigerators. This ultra-silent operation ensures that users’ routines are not disrupted, regardless of the time of day.
Regarding safety, the DJI Power 2000 has been designed with a focus on structural integrity, battery cell hardware, and software systems. The entire unit is made from flame-retardant materials to prevent fire hazards from impacts or falls. It can withstand static pressure of up to 1 ton without compromising safety. Utilizing lithium iron phosphate battery cells, it retains 80% capacity after 4000 cycles; even with daily charging and discharging, it can last for 10 years. The built-in Battery Management System (BMS) monitors the entire power supply, with 26 temperature sensors constantly tracking heat dissipation, enabling normal operation even in high-temperature environments of 45°C.
Additionally, 21 fuses provide circuit protection for each module, and if the safety power threshold is exceeded, the charge and discharge protection mechanism activates automatically. This new BMS also incorporates a nano-coating technology to enhance battery protection further. With a new encapsulation process that better protects the inverter, the DJI Power 2000 can operate safely in various environments, whether at a humid beach or at high altitudes of 5000 meters.
Strong Multi-Scenario Expansion, Strengthening the Ecosystem
The DJI Power 2000 features two complete SDC interfaces, enhancing the power ecosystem. It includes dual 140-watt USB-C ports, dual 65-watt USB-C ports, four USB-A ports, four AC power supply ports, two SDC ports, and two 1/4″ threaded ports, allowing for connection with various DJI Power series accessories and different models of solar/car fast charging, drone fast charging, and more. This powerful ecosystem further meets the diverse energy storage and electricity needs for home backup, short camping trips, long RV travels, and film production.
The DJI Power 2000 can connect directly to the new DJI Home App, which features a user-friendly interface for easy operation. Users can remotely turn on/off AC output, adjust parameters, and monitor the power supply’s operational status in real-time, making it convenient and efficient. In addition to the main power unit, users can also view and adjust parameters for power packs, 1 kW car fast charging, and 1.8 kW solar/car fast charging.
