2025 Xinjiang International Solar Photovoltaic Exhibition Set to Launch in September

2025

National Photovoltaic Exhibition | The 2025 Xinjiang International Solar Photovoltaic Exhibition will Open in September

Date: September 11-13, 2025

Location: Xinjiang International Convention and Exhibition Center (Urumqi)

Exhibition Area: Over 50,000 square meters

Exhibitors: 900+

Professional Visitors: Over 50,000

Concurrent Forums: More than 20 sessions

In line with China’s “Dual Carbon” strategy, the new energy sector is rapidly transitioning towards a green and low-carbon economy. Xinjiang, leveraging its abundant “sandy and barren” resources, has emerged as a key area for the deployment of large-scale wind and photovoltaic projects in the country. Significant projects, including the first “sandy and barren” large-scale renewable energy transmission project and the Northwest’s first million-kilowatt pumped storage power station, are injecting strong momentum into Xinjiang’s new energy industry.

Market Expansion and Technological Breakthroughs

In recent years, Xinjiang’s photovoltaic industry has experienced explosive growth, with solar panels and wind turbines forming a “blue ocean” of energy in the desert. This has led to record-scale development of local new energy projects. The distributed photovoltaic and household photovoltaic markets have rapidly emerged as new engines for industry growth. The 2025 exhibition is expected to attract over 900 exhibitors and more than 50,000 professional visitors, spanning the entire photovoltaic supply chain, including photovoltaic modules, energy storage systems, and smart grid technologies.

Industry Integration and Collaborative Development

This exhibition will feature a unique “full industry chain showcase + multi-field integration.” Over 20 forums will be held concurrently, focusing on topics such as improving the stability of photovoltaic power generation, green hydrogen production, and the synergy between new energy and agriculture. Institutions like the China Energy Automobile Communication Group will participate extensively to promote integrated cooperation among industry, academia, and research.

The exhibition area will cover various sectors, including new energy equipment, material research and development, project development, and management, providing an efficient platform for technical exchanges and business matchmaking.

Future Outlook: Balancing Innovation and Internationalization

With advancements in energy storage technologies and flexible transmission, Xinjiang’s capacity for renewable energy will continue to grow, aiding in the establishment of a modern power system. The exhibition aims to enhance international collaboration, attracting representatives from over ten countries to promote market development along the “Belt and Road” initiative. In the future, Xinjiang is expected to develop an integrated model of “wind-solar-storage-hydrogen,” positioning itself as a global innovation hub in the new energy industry and providing a model for achieving carbon neutrality goals.
